EVEN though the destiny of MotoGP world championship title has been decided, the Shell Advance Malaysian MotoGP still promises to be an exciting affair this weekend as the fate of the Moto2 and 125 cc still hangs in the balance.

Unfortunately an extended recovery time will be required, meaning Jorge will not be able to race in Sepang, but there’s still plenty to look forward to as the destiny of the Moto2 title will be decided between championship leader, Stefan Bradl (Viessmann Kiefer Racing) going neck and neck with 125cc champion, Marc Marquez (Team CatalunyaCaixa Repsol) with a mere 3 points separating them.

Riding in the 125 cc category at that time, from then on, Rossi never looked back, hauling in 9 world championship titles, 7 in the premier class, MotoGP and one each in the 500cc and 125cc.

Capirossi, heralded as the most experienced rider on the MotoGP will finally bow out after 22 seasons in the world championship and the only rider other than Rossi to have won races in all categories.

The track was officially closed on the 3rd of October to commence all set up work, with track personnel responsible for repairing the kerbs and beautifying the areas around the track.

To avoid missing out on the action, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets before race days. There are other multiple channels of ticket outlets for the die-hard racing fan to choose from, with the SIC ticket counter at the circuit now open 7 days a week and ticket booths conveniently located in hot spots around Klang Valley in KLCC, KL Sentral (Transit Concourse, Level 1) and Lot 10.
